You can customize the number of items displayed on one page
Our pages that present arthropods by taxonomic classification and list observations have received a new feature. In May 2023, we renewed our taxonomic subpages for orders, families, genera and species. Since then, you can review the Hungarian arthropod fauna and related observation data faster and more simply on modern interfaces. Since February 2024, you can also see the taxonomic category overview of a user's observations in this new view.
The izeltlabuak.hu website primarily focuses on arthropods found in Hungary. This entry also deals with Hungarian fauna.
On these pages, you could sort and filter the displayed elements according to different criteria. However, it was not possible to set the number of displayed elements. From now on, this is also possible on the following pages:
- taxonomic classification subpages
Example: Species belonging to the owlet moth (Noctuidae) family occurring in Hungary
- observations page for a taxonomic category
Example: observations classified into the yellow underwing (Noctua) genus
- subpage of taxonomic categories observed by a user
Example: beetle families (Coleoptera) observed by Tamási Gergő
- page of a user's observations belonging to a specific taxonomic category
Example: hawkmoths (Sphingidae) observed by Kiss Tamás
The configurable item numbers are: 12, 36, 50, 72, 100. If we set one, the website remembers it and applies it from then on.
