In 2026 you can again donate 1% of your tax to the Közösen a Természetért Alapítvány - the organisation operating izeltlabuak.hu. Deadline for submitting the declaration: 20 May 2026.

The foundation's aims:
- protection of our natural heritage,
- fostering a harmonious relationship between people and nature,
- research and dissemination of biodiversity,
- raising awareness of the importance of biodiversity and contributing to its restoration,
- practising and promoting community data collection.
By donating 1% of your tax you can contribute to achieving these aims.
We use the donations for running the izeltlabuak.hu community data platform, nature conservation and outreach activities, and building our community.

We need your support to
- keep the community data platform running
- ensure recording of rapidly growing observation data and uninterrupted service
- act effectively against habitat loss and drastic decline in species numbers
- remain free and ad-free
- produce accessible and professional outreach materials
On our website, community members record observations of butterflies, beetles, spiders and other arthropods. Experts contribute to identifying observations, and scientific publications are based on the data. We provide accurate and reliable information on the distribution of Hungarian arthropods and its changes, and serve as a useful resource for nature conservation and habitat management. By collecting knowledge and cooperating with other conservation organisations we protect Hungary's arthropod fauna. Through open publication and free use of observation data we support outreach and the spread of free culture.
You can declare your 1% donation to the Közösen a Természetért Alapítvány from 2026 tax by 20 May 2026 at the latest (independently of the SZJA return).
Anyone may choose to donate 1% of their personal income tax paid on their consolidated tax base to a registered civil organisation, including the Közösen a Természetért Alapítvány that operates izeltlabuak.hu.
The declaration can be submitted most easily electronically:
- by filling it in online on the eSZJA web interface
- or with the Nav Általános Nyomtatványkitöltő (ÁNYK) program together with the return, by also filling in its EGYSZA sheet, or
- separately, by filling in the 25SZJA-EGYSZA form.
On the eSZJA web interface, on the “1+1 %-os rendelkezés - Rendelkező nyilatkozat a befizetett adó 1+1 százalékáról” form, enter the 19309307-1-41 adószám in the field for the civil beneficiary's tax number; the system will recognise and select the Foundation automatically.
