Scorpions
I was contacted with a request to enable the identification of scorpions as well.
The izeltlabuak.hu website primarily focuses on arthropods found in Hungary. This entry also deals with Hungarian fauna.
Scorpions do not appear on the systematic overview page of Hungarian arthropods, since there are no known occurrences in Hungary.
The izeltlabuak.hu website allows the recording and identification of species that do not live in Hungary. These are automatically not included in the domestic lists, but their taxon pages are accessible. An example is the apollo butterfly.
Scorpion recordings have already occurred before, 17 so far. These can be found on the scorpion observation list page.
During identification, however, scorpions were indeed not listed. The reason for this was a recent transformation I made, affecting the identification system. As a result, among the higher categories (order, suborder, ...) I only listed the domestic categories, and scorpions were not included.
I have fixed the bug, from now on identification can be submitted for scorpions again.
