Macrolepidoptera species list changes
We removed the species Bryopsis muralis from the Hungarian species list and transferred the associated observations to Bryopsis szeokekalmani.
The izeltlabuak.hu website primarily focuses on arthropods found in Hungary. This entry also deals with Hungarian fauna.
According to the changes detailed in the Fibigeriana Supplement Volume 4 book, we removed the former subspecies Xestia ashworthii candelarum from the Hungarian species list. In Hungary the subspecies Xestia ashworthii gergelypeteri occurs.
We also removed the species Polymixis xanthomista and Photedes morrisii from the Hungarian species list. Here the subspecies Polymixis xanthomista gyurovicslaszloi and Photedes morrisii simonyisandori occur.
Although we strove to process the changes introduced in the Fibigeriana Supplement Volume 4 accurately, this change was still missed. Balogh Botond drew our attention to the omission. Thank you Botond for the notification!
