- Leírás:Aulacochilus violaceus Our species of pleasing fungus beetles (Triplax-species) are usually blue and red coloured. When I first visited the collection of our museum, I spotted nice and bigger blue species in the box. Those were some old and dusty specimens of Aulacochilus violaceus (Germar, 1824) from the Balkan. I never thought I will found them once in my life! There were dozens of them, on a fungus beech log at night, in the Rumija Mountains, Montenegro. Eredeti kép Flickr-en
