We expanded the Hungarian species list with new species: Delphacodes mulsanti, Arboridia simillima and Philaia jassargiforma, and we made the following changes to scientific names:
The genus Empoasca became the genus Hebata
Fruticidia bisignata became Frutioidia bisignata.
Anaceratagallia laevis became Anaceratagallia glabra.
We have expanded with a new identifier, Levente Kollár. His primary area of expertise is dragonflies - Odonata.
We have completed the collection and publication of our previous month's, October 2025, changes made to the Hungarian checklist and naming.
We have added a new species to the Hungarian species list: Parasteatoda tabulata.
We have expanded the Hungarian species list with a new species: Aphthona nigriceps.
We have expanded the Hungarian species list with a new species: Lipoptena fortisetosa, and completed the Hungarian Hippoboscidae species list.
An old friend of mine, Kárpáti Marcell contacted me with the question of whether I could record his 2025 summer observations, which he had already recorded on iNaturalist. It was about 800 photos and 600 observation records. I was happy to fulfill the request.
Summary: I processed 5 new publications. I assigned sources to the species mentioned in them. Species that were not yet marked as living in Hungary were marked as native.
