New species added to the Hungarian species list - Aphthona nigriceps

· 2 minutes read

We have expanded the Hungarian species list with a new species: Aphthona nigriceps.

Note about izeltlabuak.hu (arthropods)

The izeltlabuak.hu website primarily focuses on arthropods found in Hungary. This entry also deals with Hungarian fauna.

As a further change, the article mentions that the previously reported Aphthona aeneomicans from Hungary was misidentified, and the Aphthona rugipennis species lives in Hungary.

The article contains the species belonging to the Hungarian Aphthona genus. Based on this, I made an additional change, synonymizing Aphthona cyanella with the Aphthona atrocaerulea species.
